Reflecting on My Week
This week I was able to finalize the topic that I will use to conduct my action research. To come to this conclusion I spent lots of time analyzing areas on my campus that I felt needed research to provide change for our students. To begin the week I watch three interviews of educational leaders. These wise men gave great examples of action rsearch plans they have done as well as provided us with suggestions we can use during our research plans. I learned a great deal from watching these interviews. I better understand the importance of collecting data in all areas to best examine a wondering. Using research one should take action to make change and share results making sure that student and staff identity is preserved. As an educator I know that I must do whatever it takes to produce results of student success! This week we also examined nine passions that could help us come up with a good wondering for our action research plans. By looking into these areas that most school leaders use as a target for their inquiry, it helped me to think of areas in whch I could further my research to better my school and the success for the students. Finally, after selecting three topics for action research, I met with my site supervisor whom helped me to finalize my topic for inquiry. Overall, this week taught me how to come up with good wondering for my school as well as why it is important to do so. I know that data should be in every aspect of my research and how to use that data to increase student success.
